Place discs on an 8x8 board to trap rows of your opponent's pieces between two of yours, flipping them all to your color. The board's balance swings wildly with each move, so the player leading at midgame often loses. When no squares remain, whoever owns the most discs wins.
How to play Reversi
- Place a disc so it brackets a line of enemy discs
- Flip every bracketed enemy disc to your color
- Make a move only where at least one disc flips
- Hold the majority of discs when the board fills to win
Tips & strategy
- Grab corner squares since they can never be flipped
- Avoid the squares next to corners early on
- Keep your disc count low in the midgame to stay flexible
Controls: Click or tap an empty square to drop your disc.
